After losing in the final to an inspired Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic enters the Olympics with something of a point to prove. The Serb legend will be motivated to do well at Roland Garros but he will surely have in the back of his mind that the odds are against him with the likes of Alcaraz participating. After being outplayed on grass, he will know it will be even tougher on the Parisian clay but that will not stop Djokovic from giving it his all.
He kicks off his Olympics by facing Australian veteran Matthew Ebden. The pair have never met strangely despite just one year separating them but this really be a baptism of fire for the Australian. It is hard to see him having any joy against Djokovic who should win in straight sets here.
