NOVAK DJOKOVIC VS LORENZO MUSETTI PREDICTION

Yet to drop a set across the singles tournament of the Paris 2024 Olympics, it has been a masterclass so far from Novak Djokovic, with just one of the eight sets he has won so far being decided via a tie-break. However, by his own admission, the Serb is “very worried” about a knee injury which he played through across his quarter-final win over Stefanos Tsitsipas.

With that in mind, opponent Lorenzo Musetti must be sensing an opportunity here and comes into this semi-final full of confidence after knocking out Tokyo gold medalist Alexander Zverev. But Djokovic is as resilient as they come and if anyone can fight through the pain barrier it will be him. When factoring in how good he has been across the entirety of these Olympics so far and his overall record of six wins from seven previous matches played against Musetti, Djokovic has to be favoured for victory.
