It was the nature of Novak Djokovic’s win over Rafael Nadal that was so impressive, the Serbian came out of the blocks like a train, overwhelming Nadal on his favoured clay court and never looked back from then on. A 6-1, 6-4 triumph was testament to Djokovic’s dominance and underlined the size of Dominik Koepfer’s task to try and stop him here.
