LORENZO MUSETTI VS MARIANO NAVONE PREDICTION
Lorenzo Musetti was clinical in the first round, beating Gael Monfils 6-1, 6-4 to set up this match, whilst Mariano Navone was a 6-2, 6-2 winner over Portugal’s Nuno Borges. The last time these two locked horns was back in May at the Cagliari Challenger, with Navone coming out on top against the home favourite.
Musetti will be out for revenge this time around and is in a strong position to dish it out. He has been playing excellent tennis for an extended period of time and his game against serve looks good. But Navone knows how to get the better of him and psychologically, that can have a big impact. Either way, it would be no surprise if these two contested a three-set encounter, so back that as appropriate.
