LORENZO MUSETTI VS FELIX AUGER-ALIASSIME PREDICTION

Lorenzo Musetti and Felix Auger-Aliassime will fight it out for a bronze medal after losing their semi-finals on Friday. The duo were comprehensively beaten by Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz and will have to bounce back quickly given there is so much on the line here.

Musetti will look back on this week with great pride and he has been in fine form with straight set wins over Taylor Fritz and then Alexander Zverev in the third round and then quarter-finals. His form has been strong all week and he is playing some of the best tennis of his career right now.

Felix Auger-Aliassime has beaten some quality opposition himself this week with wins over Daniil Medvedev and Casper Ruud in the last two rounds. He was completely outplayed by Carlos Alcaraz 6-1 6-1 and that may not be easy for him to recover from.

This pair have five previous meetings to look back on and it is the Canadian who leads the way 3-2 having won the last two. It is Musetti who edges the battles on clay however having won two of the three on that surface.

It is Musetti who edges it for us. He has been in strong form for some weeks now and while it is one of those matches that could easily go the three sets, it is Musetti who just has a number of factors that we think go his way.
