JAPAN VS BELGIUM PREDICTION

Both Japan and Belgium are coming off the back of defeats across the second round of Group C games, although neither were blowouts by any stretch. Japan were undone by a Satou Sabally masterclass, who scored 33 points in a 64-75 win for Germany, whilst Belgium finished within 13 points of USA.

What has been notable over the course of these group games has been Belgium’s visible improvement. They have grown in confidence and are clearly improving as a team the longer they spend on the court. A first Group C victory would serve as the clearest demonstration yet of their growth and backing them to do just that against Japan is well worth considering.
