TIM MEANS VS ANDRE FIALHO LOWDOWN

Tim Means (32-15-1(1)) is suffering his worst form since he joined the UFC all the way back in 2012. After outpointing Nicolas Dalby (2021) he got submitted by Kevin Holland (2022), lost a split decision to Max Griffin (2022) and then got submitted again by Alex Morono back in May to knock his UFC record down to 14-12(1).

Andre Fialho (16-7(1)) is also on a three-fight skid. He responded brilliantly to his UFC debut loss to Michel Pereira (2022) by knocking out Miguel Baeza (2022) and Cameron VanCamp (2022) in quick succession. However, he then got knocked out himself by Jake Matthews (2022), Muslim Salikhov (2022) and Joaquin Buckley (2023).

TIM MEANS VS ANDRE FIALHO PREDICTION

Fialho is tough as nails but there have to be question marks over his chin now. It has been cleaned up three times in a row and although Means does not have one-punch knockout power, he knows how to put people to sleep with 19 knockouts in the books.

He is more well-rounded and has a lot more strings to his bow. Fialho prefers to stick to his boxing and if Means decides to oblige in a striking battle, we will be in for a fun scrap.

Fialho packs more power and it will be a risk for Means to exchange leather for three rounds. Also, considering the damage Fialho’s chin has absorbed, a knockout either way is likely.

That said, if Means plays this smart and mixes in his wrestling, he can dictate where the fight goes. He is slowing down, but it is surprising to see him as the underdog and he has all the tools to get the job done.

Prediction: Means via Decision

Value bet: Means to win
