THIAGO MOISES VS LUDOVIT KLEIN LOWDOWN
Thiago Moises (18-7) is coming off a routine win against Mitch Ramirez (2024). The debutant stepped up to replace Brad Riddell at UFC Fight Night 239. He was expected to lose, and Moises made sure by disabling him with ferocious leg kicks. That came in response to getting knocked out by Benoit Saint-Denis and he now sits on a UFC record of 7-5.
Ludovit Klein (21-4-1) also welcomed a short-notice debutant with a violent knockout. He was scheduled to fight Joel Alvarez at UFC Fight Night 238 and AJ Cunningham (2024) bravely stepped up to replace him. He was met with an onslaught and put away in the first round extending Klein’s unbeaten streak to five, topping his UFC record up to 5-2-1.
THIAGO MOISES VS LUDOVIT KLEIN PREDICTION
They both represent a significant step-up in competition to their previous fights and it will be a much harder shift for both fighters in Louisville.
They are both very well-rounded, but Moises’ strengths lay in his grappling whereas Klein’s lay in his striking. Moises’ has fought a higher standard of competition, but if he cannot get the fight to deck, he will get pieced up over three rounds.
If he can get the Slovakian on his back, he will be a severe threat however, Klein has a good get-up game and has very strong takedown defence. We are backing Klein to keep the majority of the fight on the feet and although Moises will be competitive, we expect Klein to land more damage and volume to sway the judges.
