STEPHANIE LUCIANO VS TALITA ALENCAR LOWDOWN
Stephanie Luciano and Talita Alencar will play it back in a rematch of their Contender Series clash in September 2023 which ended in a draw so there is plenty of history between these two strawweight fighters.
Alencar won the first two rounds of that fight but Luciano earned a 10-8 in round three to claim the draw which resulted in both fighters being handed a UFC contract. They now meet again under the UFC umbrella and the pair will be desperate to impress.
Luciano brings her 5-1-1 record into this bout and it is her first since that draw. Alencar has had a match since then as she picked up a split decision win over Rayanne Amanda in December. That win means Alencar remains unbeaten.

The fascinating elements coming into this fight is how much either fighter has improved and what they will do differently to the first fight. Luciano will carry some confidence knowing she had Alencar in trouble in the third round of the last fight. That said, Alencar will take a lot of confidence knowing she dominated the grappling and controlled the first two rounds.
Alencar will look to her jiu-jitsu and wrestling to take this fight to the ground. She has the extra bout since the draw which will help her conditioning and that could be key. It is unlikely she will stand in the pocket and trade for long knowing the threat Luciano poses.
