SONG KENAN VS RICKY GLENN LOWDOWN

Next up is a fight in the UFC’s welterweight division as Korea’s Song ‘The Assassin’ Kenan meets American Ricky ‘The Gladiator’ Glenn. The pair of veterans will both be keen to keep their careers on track and winning here is key. A loss could signal the end of either fighter’s UFC career.

Song Kenan brings a 21-8 record into this bout and has lost three of his last four fights. He comes off a decision loss to Kevin Jousset in December and he will be eager to bounce back here.

He meets Ricky Glenn who has been stopped in his last two fights with punches. With an almost identical record of 22-8-2, there are signs that the 35-year-old’s punch resistance is waning and that has to be a concern.

SONG KENAN VS RICKY GLENN PREDICTION

Song Kenan has multiple routes to victory as nine of his 21 wins have come via KO/TKO and another nine by submission. That said, as he gets a little older perhaps with his punching power declining, more of his bouts are going the distance with four of his last seven going to the scorecards.

That is not dissimilar for Glenn as eight of his last 11 fights have also gone to the judges. After two consecutive knockouts, there is every chance that Glenn will be a little more conservative here to arrest this slump and we could quite easily see this going to the scorecards here.

Our preference from a betting angle is Kenan though. The consecutive knockouts of Glenn are a major concern, and with a heavy Asian following expected in the crowd, we expect the Korean to get the win here.

PREDICTION: Song Kenan to win
