SEAN WOODSON VS COLLIN ANGLIN LOWDOWN

Sean Woodson (8-1) will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce this weekend when he faces Collin Anglin. Woodson was signed to the UFC via the Dana White’s Contender Series following a win over Terrance McKinney. As of right now, in his three UFC fights, Woodson is 2-1 in the promotion. The defeat against Julian Erosa was Woodson’s first of his professional career. After defeating Youssef Zalal in his last fight Woodson will be itching to secure another win at UFC Fight Night 197.

Collin Anglin (8-2), like Woodson, was also signed to the UFC through the DWCS. Anglin would beat Muhammadjon Naimov via decision to earn himself a contract with the promotion. Collin would go on to make his debut in July against a tough Melsik Baghdasaryan. Unfortunately, Anglin would go on to lose. Now, just four months later, Anglin will step foot inside the UFC cage for the second time this weekend and will be hoping to come away with his first win in the UFC.

SEAN WOODSON VS COLLIN ANGLIN PREDICTION

Going into the fight, ‘The Sniper’ will have a five-inch height advantage over Anglin. Woodson also has an eight-inch reach advantage over Collin. Sean will need to use the significant reach and superiority to his advantage.

Four out of Anglin’s eight professional wins have come via a form of knockout. However, Colin may have to use his solid wrestling skills against Woodson.

If Collin opts to use his striking, then he will get picked apart on the feet by ‘The Sniper.’ Even though Woodson doesn’t have that brutal knockout power, he’ll be happy to stand and out-point his opponent.

Anglin will have to keep Woodson on the backfoot and tire him out. When there’s a chance to take the fight to the floor, Collin will have to capitalise and try and punish Woodson.
