Ronnie Lawrence (8-1) heads to the APEX hoping to make it three UFC wins from three. After outpointing Jose Johnson (2020) on the Contender Series, he was lined up for a debut against Vince Cachero (2021) and it ended perfectly with a third-round knockout. He did not return for a year, but he made it onto the UFC 271 card and earnt another unanimous decision, this time against Leomana Martinez.
Saidyokub Kakhramonov (9-2) is coming off the biggest win of his career. He took on Trevin Jones for his UFC debut and submitted him in the third round. That extended his streak to three after knocking out Askar Askar (2020) for Hoosier Fight Club and then Tycen Lynn (2021) for the Cage Fury Fighting Championship.

These two match up very similarly physically, but will approach this very differently. Kakhramonov is a natural finisher and he will hunt the knockout on the feet from the bell. If he rocks him, he may even pounce on a submission, but a finish is only possible if he can avoid the takedown.
Lawrence will be relentless in chaining takedowns together. In his three UFC fight including the Contender Series bout, Lawrence has sealed 26 takedowns. He is a beast and we expect him to subdue Kakhramonov for the majority of the three rounds to give the judges an easy decision. Considering the odds, Kakhramonov is worth a punt.
