PRISCILA CACHOEIRA VS KARINE SILVA LOWDOWN
Priscila Cachoeira (12-4) will be praying this fight stays intact after Sijara Eubanks pulled out of their fight on the day of weigh-ins back in January at UFC Fight Night 217. Especially as she is full to the brim with confidence right now. After getting submitted by Gillian Robertson (2021), she has gone on to earn a unanimous decision over Ji Yeon Kim (2022) and pick up her biggest win to date by knocking out Ariane Lipski (2022).
Karine Silva (15-4) is her next opponent, and she is coming in hot with six finishes on the bounce. In fact, she has finished all 15 of her wins (nine knockouts and eight submissions) and she continued that run on her UFC debut back in June last year by wrapping Poliana Botelho up in a slick Brabo choke.

It is great to see these warriors matched up as they are two of the most potent finishers in the division. They are both super dangerous on the feet and what they lack in technique, they make up for in power and aggression.
We expect fireworks if they decide to trade, but Silva has the grappling to exploit Cachoeira’s weak takedown defence and the submission prowess to find a submission. We are backing Silva to do just that, but if this spills out into the second and third round, Cachoeira will come into her own.
