KHAOS WILLIAMS VS CARLSTON HARRIS LOWDOWN

We have only seen Khaos Williams (14-3) twice since his knockout and ‘Performance of the Night’ against Miguel Baeza (2021). He lost a split decision to Randy Brown (2022) at UFC 274 and then returned a year later to win a split decision over Rolando Bedoya (2023) at UFC 288. Now, he is hoping for a more active run.

Carlston Harris (19-5) also appears for the first time this year after a superb 2023. He entered the year after Shavkat Rakhmonov spectacularly snapped a five-fight win streak with a spinning hook kick. He responded with a unanimous decision over Jared Gooden and followed that up with a submission over Jeremiah Wells earning a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus.

KHAOS WILLIAMS VS CARLSTON HARRIS PREDICTION

Both fighters are extremely dangerous finishers and on their day can trouble anyone in the division. Williams possesses serious knockout power and Harris is a beast on the mat.

Williams will be confident in his takedown defence and unleash heavy kicks and swing for the fences whenever he sees an opening on the chin. Harris is also dangerous on the feet, but he knows he has to avoid the power by putting Williams on his back.

If he is successful, he has the ability to wrap the neck up. If he is persistent enough with his wrestling, he should be able to drain the gas tank of Williams. We can also see Williams power his way out of the majority of takedown attempts and clinches and landing more damage throughout the fight to sway the judges or even land a knockout.

So many outcomes are possible here and is one to stay clear of from a betting point of view. We give Harris the slight edge with his grappling, but he will need a flawless performance to finish Williams who has never been knocked out or submitted.

Prediction: Harris via Decision

Value Bet: Williams via KO/TKO
