JINH YU FREY VS HANNAH GOLDY LOWDOWN
Jinh Yu Frey (11-6) had a great 2021 after losing her first two UFC fights in 2020. She got caught in Kay Hansen’s armbar on her debut and then lost a unanimous decision to Loma Lookboonmee. However, she has responded with two unanimous decisions of her own against Gloria de Paula and Ashley Yoder.
Hannah Goldy (6-2) also lost her first two UFC fights. She moved up to flyweight for her debut and lost a unanimous decision to Miranda Granger. She returned two years later in July last year to lose another unanimous decision to Diana Belbita. However, she finally got her UFC account up and running with her best win, submitting Emily Whitmire with an armbar in the first round.
JINH YU FREY VS HANNAH GOLDY PREDICTION
We finally saw the best out of these two in their last fights. Frey gives up an inch in height, but interestingly boasts a four-inch reach advantage.
Goldy is very strong and a good kickboxer and added another string to her bow with that armbar which was impressive. So, she will be eyeing up Frey’s armbar loss to Hansen as an avenue to victory.
However, we are backing Frey who is more well-rounded and experienced. We expect her to win the striking and grappling exchanges, but with little finishing experience, a decision is most likely.
