JEKA SARAGIH VS WESTIN WILSON LOWDOWN

Jeka Saragih (14-3) responded perfectly to losing the Road to UFC lightweight finale. He got there by knocking out Pawan Maan Singh (2022) with a beautiful spinning backfist and then uncorked a piston straight-right hand to Ki Won-Bin’s (2022) face to rack up his eighth knockout. However, Anshul Jubli (2023) gave him a taste of his own medicine with a TKO. He returned in November last year to fight Lucas Alexander and it was business as usual cleaning his clock in the first round.

Westin Wilson (16-9) has just got his clock clean twice, but in fairness, his two UFC fights were against killers. He stepped up on short notice to fight Joanderson Brito (2023) at UFC on ESPN 48 and then Jean Silva (2024) at UFC Fight Night 234. Those knockouts snapped a three-fight streak of submissions and he is desperate to add to the reel and get his UFC career up and running.

JEKA SARAGIH VS WESTIN WILSON PREDICTION

This is a step-down in competition for Wilson, but it is still a terrible match-up for him. He will bounce around in his karate stance and pounce on any opportunity to get the fight to the ground and hunt a submission.

He will also boast a four-inch reach and five-inch height advantage. The trouble is, he does not have the speed to make that count and Saragih will look to step into range and unleash his power.

The Indonesian can grapple, but he possesses legitimate knockout power and he will no doubt have one game plan consisting of finding the chin of Wilson. It has taken a lot of damage and we expect Saragih to find it and walk away with his 10th knockout.

Prediction: Saragih via KO/TKO
