Cody Stamann (21-5-1) has recovered from that three-fight skid which came just after his younger brother passed away in 2020. It was a tough time compounded by the losses to Jimmie Rivera (2020), Merab Dvalishvili (2021) and Said Nurmagomedov (2022). Douglas Silva de Andrade (28-5(1)) has also struggled for consistency going 6-5 in the UFC. He was building some momentum after knocking out Gaetano Pirrelo (2021) and submitting Sergey Morozov (2022) however Nurmagomedov put an end to the streak with a unanimous decision back in July last year.

Neither of these fighters are going to jump the queue of title contenders anytime soon, but an exciting finish may see them get paired in a more exciting match-up.
The most likely finish is a knockout for the Brazilian as he is a big and explosive bantamweight. However, Stamann has never been knocked out and we can see his durability keeping him in the fight for three rounds.
In that time, we feel he will sway the judges with his relentless pursuit of the takedown. He can blunt the weapons of the Brazilian if he can pin him to the cage or canvas for long enough.
