There were a lot of questions hanging over Brunno Ferreira’s (11-1) head after suffering the first loss of his career. He steamrolled every opponent (seven knockouts and three submissions) including his knockout over Gregory Rodrigues (2023) on his UFC debut. He then ran into Nursulton Ruziboev (2023) who gave him a taste of his own medicine erasing him in first round. However, he responded perfectly by reeling off his sixth first-round knockout over Phil Hawes (2024).
Dustin Stoltzfus (15-5) also responded perfectly to the first knockout of his career which came in devastating fashion. He met Abus Magomedov (2022) in Paris having lost three of his last four fights and then slumped to 1-4 after eating a vicious front kick. However, he bounced back from that loss by reeling off his own knockout over Punahele Soriano (2023) in a ‘Performance of the Night’ display.

Ferreira is a beast with immense power and speed to match. He is explosive yet calculated and has an array of weapons at his disposal. He can also grapple but leverages those skills to create the space he needs to find the knockout.
Stoltzfus is also a striker by trade and has solid wrestling which will be key. If he decides to stand and trade, he is likely to get slept. However, he can grind the Brazilian down and create submission opportunities on the floor.
However, we are backing Ferreira’s takedown defence to keep the fight on the feet where he will eventually find a home for one of his missiles.
