ABDUL RAZAK ALHASSAN: 39-YEAR-OLD SLUMPING WITH TWO WINS IN LAST EIGHT FIGHTS

39-year-old Ghanaian Abdul Razak Alhassan (12-6 with one no contest) is coming off a no contest where his fight with Cody Brundage was stopped due to accidental elbows to the back of Brundage’s head. That left him unable to continue and means the veteran has just two wins from his last eight fights. All 12 of his wins have come via knockout and that is seemingly his only route to victory. He will be keen to put on a show here and make it unluck 13 for Fremd.

JOSH FREMD: AMERICAN EAGER TO AVOID THIRD LOSS IN A ROW

30-year-old American Josh Fremd (11-6) has lost his last two fights and has lost four of his last six as his slump dates back to 2022. The Pennsylvania native is targeting two wins in his next two fights to try earn a new contract so he is well aware of the urgency around this fight. He is a team-mate of Cody Brundage so he will be well-prepared for what Razak Alhassan has to offer.

ABDUL RAZAK ALHASSAN VS JOSH FREMD PREDICTION

This is one of the more even fights on paper and it makes for a fascinating fight. Abdul Razak Alhassan’s 12 wins have all come by knockout and he will come swinging for Fremd right from the start.

Fremd is a bit more rounded as a fighter but he has looked a little flat in recent fights. The urgency is certainly on his side as he needs a win to try earn a new contract in the organisation.

He will be focused on trying to avoid the Ghanaian’s power punches which is easier said that done of course.

We marginally prefer him to do that but with no real confidence. A win on points is Fremd’s most likely route to victory.

PREDICTION: JOSH FREMD TO WIN VIA DECISION
