Luca Nardi vs Quentin Halys Prediction
Luca Nardi is certainly making the most of his lucky loser reprieve after he lost in qualifying on Sunday and the Italian 21-year-old has done incredibly well in beating Marton Fucsovics and then Zizou Bergs on Wednesday.
The match with Bergs was tight and despite the 6-4 7-6, there was very little between the two players.
He now takes on Quentin Halys who also came through both rounds of qualifying but he won each of his matches. He stepped up a level in the main draw and has pulled off superb wins over Andrey Rublev and then Roberto Bautista Agut on Wednesday to reach the quarters.
His serve is looking strong this week and he fired 15 aces in the two sets against Bautista Agut. That will be the key if he is to win this match.
This will be a close match but we have to favour Halys in this one. Nardi is riding the luck after the reprieve and he has improved with every match but Halys has beaten some quality players. His level is high and we favour him to continue that and make it to the semis.
