TSZ TIPS

RORY MCILROY

  • Rory McIlroy finished in a tie for 10th at the Genesis Invitational on his last outing on the PGA Tour and the Northern Irishmen looks set for a big week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational with a win well within his grasp.
  • McIlroy’s ball striking should suit the course at Bay Hill and if he can replicate that form as well as what he showed when winning the CJ Cup at the back end of last year, the 20-time PGA Tour winner has to be in with a shout here.

TIP: Winner e/w (12/1)

MARC LEISHMAN

  • Marc Leishman continues to be consistent and while it has not resulted in a win recently, his performances cannot be ignored having managed to finish in the top 20 in five of his last six PGA Tour events.
  • The Australian came close at the Fortinet Championship, Shriners and QBE Shootout with top five finishes in each while he has finished in a tie for no worse than 16th in the Farmers and Genesis Invitational in his last two appearances so a shot at place money is a good shout at the very least here.

TIP: Winner e/w (35/1)
