IN BRIEF
- Lewis Hamilton has dominated his home Grand Prix in recent years and he will be looking to continue his solid run at Silverstone.
- The Brit has won this race on six occasions but five of those have come in the last six meetings and he is well fancied to add to his tally having won the last two races on the calendar.
- Mercedes have been on top in 2020 so far with Hamilton and his teammate Valtteri Bottas sharing three successes so far and it will take some effort for someone to end their supremacy.
- 20-year-old Lando Norris finished 11th in this race last year but the young Brit has enjoyed a solid start to this campaign having amassed 26 points so far and he will be eager to improve on last year’s placing.
THE PREDICTION
All eyes will be on Lewis Hamilton at Silverstone this weekend as the reigning champion looks to add another win to his strong start to 2020. He has won the last two races and now back at his home Grand Prix, he will be confident of making it three successes in a row. He has dominated this race since 2014, failing to win on just one occasion in 2018 when he was beaten into second and with that in mind, the Brit should be able to get himself at the top of the podium once again this weekend.
