THE PREDICTION
RB Leipzig’s 3-1 defeat of Cologne at the weekend was a return to form for Domenico Tedesco’s side. Their 3-2 loss away to Bayern Munich the weekend before was a halt to Tedesco’s strong start but the hosts do look capable of challenging to get back into the top four in the second-half of the campaign. They now come up against a Real Sociedad side that have been far too low-scoring to mount a serious top four challenge in La Liga but Imanol Aguacil’s side do come into this on the back of a 2-0 win against Granada as they move on the cusp of the UEFA Champions League spots. Leipzig, especially with home advantage, will come into this as the favourites.
