THE PREDICTION

This one is a repeat of the 2021/22 UEFA Europa Conference League final that took place in Tirana in which Jose Mourinho’s Roma defeated Feyenoord by a goal to nil. On Sunday evening, Feyenoord came through the Rotterdam derby with a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Sparta Rotterdam at De Kuip with second-half goals from David Hancko and Lutsharel Geertruida. That was their fifth successive clean sheet across all competitions and, under Arne Slot, do appear to be a very solid and capable team looking to go deep into this tournament. Roma have since moved on from Jose Mourinho and are attempting to play a far more front foot and proactive style of football, following the appointment of club legend Daniele De Rossi. However, with their identity and the personnel available remaining similar, the likelihood for games to be low-scoring remains high – especially against a team with the defensive record of the hosts

TIP: UNDER 3.5 GOALS
