THE LOWDOWN

REAL MADRID

It's been a perfect Champions League campaign so far for the 14-time winners, with four wins from four in Group C, and they are now looking to secure top spot over opponents Napoli with at least a draw being enough here.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have been in relentless form this season with only one defeat in all competitions, which came against city rivals Atletico Madrid in La Liga.

NAPOLI

Second-placed Napoli still have some work to do themselves in order to make it out of the group and their fate could go down to the last set of fixtures depending on the outcome of the Sporting Braga vs Union Berlin match.

The reverse fixture against Real Madrid on Matchday 2 was an entertaining affair with Napoli causing the Spanish giants plenty of problems despite ultimately losing the game, and new manager Walter Mazzarri will hope to make a significant statement in only his second game since returning to the club for a second stint in the hot seat.

THE TEAM NEWS

REAL MADRID

Ancelotti is unlikely to make sweeping changes given they still need to ensure they finish top of the group, but the likes of Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo may be used sparingly in order to protect them from potential injury.

Vinicius Junior is out for at least a couple of months with a hamstring injury, while Andriy Lunin should start in goal again given the absences of both Thibaut Courtois and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-1-2): Lunin; Lucas Vázquez, Rudiger, Alaba, Fran García; Valverde, Kroos, Ceballos; Bellingham; Rodrygo, Brahim Díaz

UNAVAILABLE: Courtois (Injured), Kepa (Injured), Éder Militão (Injured), Tchouameni (Injured), Arda Güler (Injured), Camavinga (Injured), Vinícius Júnior (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Modrić (Injured)

NAPOLI

Mathias Olivera suffered a serious-looking injury against Atalanta on Saturday so Juan Jesus - his replacement in that match - is likely to start at left-back here, while Jesper Lindstrom and Mario Rui are also sidelined.

Talismanic striker Victor Osimhen returned from injury on Saturday by making an impact off the bench and it would be no surprise to see the Nigerian taking his place in the starting line-up here.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Natan, Juan Jesus; Zambo Anguissa, Lobotka, Zieliński; Politano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia

UNAVAILABLE: Lindstrøm (Injured), Mário Rui (Injured), Olivera (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Real Madrid's European campaign has been serene so far, and with Los Blancos also sitting atop the La Liga table right now, things are going well for them. They are undoubtedly favourites on home turf, but they face a Napoli side who will be keen to impress their new manager. The Italians have found the net in all four of their Champions League games this season, including twice against Real Madrid in early October, so expect both teams to score in this one.

TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
