THE PREDICTION

Wolfsburg are last in Group G heading into this fixture and really need a positive result here if they are to maintain realistic hopes of reaching the knockout stage. Their form across all competitions has been abject over the last month-and-a-half but they finally got back to winning ways – their first in nine – with a 0-2 victory at Bayer Leverkusen over the weekend so they at least have some positives to take into this fixture. Salzburg, meanwhile, are flying high at the top of the group and are unbeaten in all 21 of their competitive games this season. The strike partnership of Karim Adeyemi and Noah Okafor are firing on all cylinders at the moment and they could well be instrumental again here. Salzburg were 3-1 winners in the reverse fixture on home turf and look good value to repeat that success, with draw no bet the suggested market.
