Although Copenhagen sit bottom of Group A with just a single point from three fixtures so far, they will argue that fine margins have counted against them when otherwise they could’ve been a couple of points better off. Had Sven Ulreich not pulled off a fabulous last-gasp save in Denmark, Copenhagen would have drawn against Bayern Munich and had Andre Onana not saved a penalty with the last kick of the game, Copenhagen would have taken a point away at Man Utd, whom they meet again here.
The memory of that Onana penalty save is likely to still sting the Danish champions and be used as motivation in front of what will be a raucous home crowd as usual. But they need to rediscover the offensive potency shown against Galatasaray back in their first group fixture of the competition if they want to get anything out of this one.
MAN UTD
Man Utd have been through a turbulent two weeks since that dramatic victory over Copenhagen at Old Trafford. Humiliating 0-3 home defeats against Man City and Newcastle in the Premier League and Carabao Cup respectively saw pressure piled upon Erik ten Hag and his players. But the Red Devils responded well at the weekend, scoring late on to get the better of Fulham by a goal to nil, sending them off to Denmark on a high.
With Bayern Munich at home next on the horizon for Man Utd in the Champions League, this is realistically a must-win for them and only three points would see them overtake Galatasaray and move them into the knockout qualification places in Group A, with the Turkish side boasting the head-to-head points tie-breaker as it stands.

Knee injuries will keep both left-back Birger Meling and centre-back Davit Khocholava out of this contest, whilst William Clem is also missing. Striker Andreas Cornelius is doubtful, as his Mohamed Elyounoussi. Jordan Larsson, who missed that crucial penalty in the reverse fixture may end up starting on the bench as he did in that game.

Copenhagen have shown across this group stage campaign so far that they are a very capable team and have admittedly been unlucky not to have gained more points. But perhaps the added experience of these Man Utd players in high-level European competition proved crucial at Old Trafford and may well do again here. The visitors showed excellent grit and determination to shut out Fulham and are no doubt good enough to do the same here. Utilise the draw no bet market for extra security and back a Man Utd win.
