THE PREDICTION
Although Chelsea managed to pick up a much-needed win in the Premier League over the weekend, it took a defender’s header from a set-piece to win it for them, and that pretty much sums up their problems in attack of late. They have it all to do here to turn the tie in their favour, but they are facing a Dortmund side in imperious form. Edin Terzic’s men have won all ten of their competitive games this year – the only side in the top five European leagues to boast a 100% record in 2023 – and they will feel confident of shutting Chelsea out here and navigating their way to the quarter-finals. A professional performance is expected from the visitors, and against this misfiring Chelsea attack, under 2.5 goals looks a reasonable bet.
