Espanyol remained top of the table despite being held to a 1-1 draw at Fuenlabrada last time out but they will be keen to get back to winning ways against a local rival in Girona. The visitors are coming off a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Mallorca and now they face arguably the strongest other team in the division.
