THE PREDICTION
Julen Lopetegui’s Sevilla come into this on the back of a tough match against Atletico Madrid at the weekend. The Andalusians sit firmly in the top four and will be hoping to build a meaningful challenge towards Real Madrid at the top-of-the-table. They have, however, a tendency to be overly conservative. They come up against a Barcelona side lacking proper cohesion still despite their change in manager from Ronald Koeman to Xavi. The Catalans don’t have the squad and maybe don’t have the manager but it is too early to suggest that about the latter. Despite that they will hope to limit Sevilla’s attacking potential and a low-scoring encounter could be in store.
