THE TEAM NEWS

MALLORCA

There are several defensive injury issues for this weekend as Antonio Raillo, Siebe van der Heyden, Matija Nastasic and Pablo Maffeo are all major doubts for Mallorca.

PREDICTED XI (5-3-2): Rajkovic; Gonzalez, Valjent, Raillo, Copete, J. Costa; Sanchez, S. Costa, Rodriguez; Larin, Muriqi

UNAVAILABLE:

QUESTIONABLE: Raillo (Injured), Van der Heyden (Injured), Nastasic (Injured), Maffeo (Injured)

ALMERIA

Iddrisu Baba is a doubt for this weekend’s trip to the Balearic Islands. Defender Edgar Gonzalez is missing through injury, whilst Gonzalo Melero is unavailable due to suspension.

PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Maximiano; Pubill, Montes, Chumi, Langa; Pena, Robertone; Baptistao, Viera, Embarba; Lozano

UNAVAILABLE: Edgar (Injured), Melero (Suspended)

QUESTIONABLE: Baba (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Real Mallorca begin the penultimate round of La Liga fixtures sitting four points above Cadiz in the bottom three and the relegation places. A victory for the Balearic Islanders would confirm survival and they have begun to steady themselves of late with a 1-1 draw at El Sadar against Osasuna in midweek meaning they have suffered just one loss in four matches. Almeria are rock-bottom and are statistically one of the worst teams in La Liga history, despite their performances being a lot better than their results have shown. Despite that, though, with everything on the line and their home advantage, backing a low-scoring Mallorca win looks the way to go for this one.

TIP: REAL MALLORCA TO WIN & UNDER 3.5 GOALS
