GETAFE PREVIEW: GRIM GETAFE

In his second stint in charge of Getafe, Jose Bordalas has an aggressive and hostile style of football that he prefers but the former Valencia boss has not quite lit the spark of Getafe this season as they languish down towards the bottom end of the Liga table with a depleted and uninspiring squad.

The Madrid-based club come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat away to Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin in Andalusia during the week in a game in which Betis were much the better of the two sides and the 2-1 scoreline flattered Getafe. After five matches so far this season, Getafe have collected just three points with three draws and two defeats.

LEGANES PREVIEW: LOOSE LEGANES

Under the management of Borja Jimenez, Leganes gained promotion to the Spanish top-flight last season playing an entertaining and quite fluent style of football but Lega have been pretty underwhelming throughout this season, despite their performances being of a decent level and quite enterprising.

Ever since drawing 1-1 with Osasuna on the opening weekend of the season when they really should have won, Leganes have blown big chances ever since. The visitors have managed just one win in their opening six matches in La Liga and come into this one on the back of a 2-0 defeat at home to Athletic Club at Butarque.

GETAFE TEAM NEWS: STRIKING ISSUES

With such a depleted squad, Getafe have had a few issues in attack with defensive midfielder Christantus Uche being deployed as a makeshift forward.

Former Real Madrid forward Borja Mayoral has been unavailable but is now fit for the home team but new signing Alvaro Rodriguez is now set for a spell on the sidelines.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): David Soria; Jorge Iglesias, Djene, Omar Alderete, Diego Rico; Luis Milla, Uche; Alex Sola, Carles Alena, Yildirim; Borja Mayoral

UNAVAILABLE: Aberdin (Injured), Alvaro (Injured)

LEGANES TEAM NEWS: SOME ISSUES

Ahead of the short trip to the Coliseum, Borja Jimenez has his work cut out to deal with the general ineffectiveness of his side at both ends of the pitch up to this stage.

There are a couple of injury issues for the visitors to deal with as Naim Garcia remains a doubt for the visitors, whilst Yvan Neyou is a definite absentee.

PREDICTED XI (5-3-2): Juan Soriano; Rosier, Jorge Saenz, Sergio, Nastasic, Enric Franquesa; Brasanac, Cisse, Roberto Lopez; Miguel de la Fuente, Haller

UNAVAILABLE: Neyou (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Naim Garcia (Injured)

GETAFE VS LEGANES PREDICTION

This Madrid derby is between two of the weakest sides in Spain that are both expected to struggle throughout the campaign. It is a bit of a clash of styles with Getafe having quite a low block and being generally quite defensive. They now face a Leganes side that are a little more progressive but have really struggled for any sort of form so the likelihood is that we have a low-scoring encounter this weekend.

GETAFE VS LEGANES TIP: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
