THE PREDICTION
Julen Lopetegui’s stint at Sevilla has been a good win and the season’s ambitions of Champions League minimum, league title maybe haven’t been entirely discouraged. However, that latter aim seems very unrealistic at this stage. The Andalucians recovered from a home defeat to Lopetegui’s former club Real Madrid with an impressive 1-0 win at Getafe. That was Sevilla’s fourth 1-0 win of the season; they’ve also been beaten by that scoreline on three occasions. So, more than half of their games this season have been 1-0 either way. They are against a Real Valladolid side on the back of a 3-2 win at home to Osasuna last week. That win their third win of the season. Just one of those wins have come on the road this season. They are yet to keep a clean sheet this season. A correct score bet is always a risky one, especially when trends and patterns tend to evolve over the course of the season but, having said that, 1-0 to Sevilla looks like a tempting bet.
