These two finished fourth and fifth in the Primeira Liga table last season but there is a serious gulf between the two sides. Gil Vicente come into this on the back of a 3-1 defeat away to newly-promoted Chaves in their most recent outing, last weekend. The home team have suffered three defeats in their last four matches and they have struggled quite badly throughout the Primeira Liga campaign. They now face a Braga side that, under the management of Artur Jorge, have been very impressive across all competitions so far this season and an away win is the expected outcome for this one.
