Bodo/Glimt will have to pick themselves up after a 4-0 hammering at Roma last Thursday brought their excellent Europa Conference League run, and their incredible unbeaten streak against Jose Mourinho’s side, to a crashing halt. They remain unbeaten reigning champions in the Eliteserien so far, though, with a 2-1 victory at Sandefjord last Sunday backing up a creditable 2-2 draw with main title-rivals Rosenborg on the opening day of the season. A tougher team might have caused the hosts a real problem here after their European disappointment but travelling Valerenga have won just one of their last 11 league games on the road across this and last season. The visitors did get some points on the board with a 2-1 win at home over relegation candidates Haugesund last Sunday but backing Bodo/Glimt to win outright looks a suitably cautious move here.
