It has been a miserable start to Ivan Juric’s reign in charge of Roma following his appointment in September and the Giallorossi now welcome an improved mid-table Torino the Stadio Olimpico this week.

ROMA PREVIEW: ROMAN RUINS
As mentioned, it has been a really poor start to the campaign for Roma with just two victories in their opening nine matches so far this season in Serie A. The Romans sacked club legend Daniele De Rossi in September with the appointment of Ivan Juric being immediately followed by back-to-back victories.
However, since those back-to-back wins, they have now managed just one win in their last five matches across all competitions with that win coming by a goal to nil at home to Dynamo Kyiv in the UEFA Europa League. They come into this one on the back of a 5-1 annihilation at the hands of Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi at the weekend.
TORINO PREVIEW: TERFIFIC TORINO
Last season, Ivan Juric departed Torino after leading them to ninth in Serie A but their 38 games consisted of just 72 goals and the Piedmont-based club wanted more entertainment. This time around, their nine matches in Serie A so far this season have consisted of 29 goals following the appointment of former Venezia boss Paolo Vanoli.
Torino had suffered three successive defeats but that losing streak was ended at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino at the weekend as they edged past an entertaining and improved newly-promoted Como side. Youngster Alieu Njie scored a late 75th minute winner for Torino in that match.
ROMA TEAM NEWS: NO MARIO HERMOSO
Summer signing Mario Hermoso is missing for this week’s clash with Torino in the capital due to suspension following a red card picked up against Fiorentina last weekend.
As well as the former Atletico Madrid centre-back, the Romans are also dealing without both Alexis Saelemaekers and Stephan El Shaarawy due to injury.
PREDICTED XI (3-5-1-1): Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Hummels; Celik, Pisilli, Cristante, Pellegrini, Tasende; Dybala; Dovbyk
UNAVAILABLE: Mario Hermoso (Suspended), Saelemaekers (Injured), El Shaarawy (Injured)

TORINO TEAM NEWS: FIRST-TEAM TRIO OUT
Torino are dealing with several injury issues through the spine of their team with defender Borna Sosa sidelined alongside both Ivan Ilic and Colombia striker Duvan Zapata.
The injury to Duvan Zapata is not viewed as that big a deal right now due to the impressive form of Scotland international and former Southampton striker Che Adams.
PREDICTED XI (3-5-2): Milinkovic-Savic; Saul Coco, Guillermo Maripan, Masina; Walukiewicz, Vlasic, Linetty, Ricci, Lazaro; Adams, Tonny Sanabria
UNAVAILABLE: Sosa (Injured), Ilic (Injured), Duvan Zapata (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Schuurs (Injured)
ROMA VS TORINO PREDICTION
Ivan Juric is up against his former side and he has struggled to get either sets of supporters on side. The former Hellas Verona boss was not necessarily hounded out in Turin but the style of football became overly controlled and a little sterile with Roma supporters extremely unhappy with the running of the club by the Friedkin Group. A double chance bet in favour of the away team would appear the best bet for this one.
