THE PREDICTION

Thailand come into this on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Nepal the other day to kick-off their March international break. They are now unbeaten in their last nine matches after an impressive AFF Championship in late-2021. They now come up against a Suriname side that, under the management of Stanley Menzo, pulled off back-to-back victories against Barbados and Guyana last month. Since October 2019, there only defeats have been to higher ranked CONCACAF sides in Jamaica, Canada and Costa Rica. A draw would appear the likeliest outcome for this one between two relatively evenly matched sides.
