THE PREDICTION

Kuwait have not won a match since 2019, though notably in a 1-3 away victory against their hosts here Saudi Arabia in the Gulf Cup of Nations. They could benefit from some rustiness when they face Saudi Arabia in Riyadh as the hosts have not played together since last November where they won one and lost one of a double-header with visiting Jamaica. Kuwait have played two friendlies this year but lost both to Palestine and Iraq back in January, so they at least have a fresher understanding about them. Both sides tend to find the back of the net and that could be the best option here for want of a tricky result.
