RB LEIPZIG PREVIEW: LEIPZIG FIRING BLANKS AFTER LEVERKUSEN STUNNER
RB Leipzig being unable to kick on since beating Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen. Scoreless draws against Union Berlin and St. Pauli respectively represent four points dropped for Marco Rose, who is starting to come under the microscope following recent performances and lack of potency going forward.
It doesn’t help that they will be back in Champions League action midweek, but Rose cannot afford to rest any of his star players. Three points is crucial as they cannot risk losing more ground on Bayern Munich at the top of the table.
AUGSBURG PREVIEW: CAN AUGSBURG MAINTAIN ATTACKING FORM
Augsburg’s inconsistency makes them a difficult team to predict right now, with one win sandwiched between two defeats across their last three games. Scoring goals hasn’t been an issue for them though, with the visitors having found the net five times across their most recent two fixtures.
Defensively, they’ll need to be at their very best here with RB Leipzig set to come of the traps firing, fuelled by motivation following their recent shut outs. Otherwise, it could be a long afternoon for Augsburg.

Injury to Kevin Kampl should lead to Nicolas Seiwald partnering Amadou Haidara in the centre of midfield. It would be no surprise if Rose reverts back to 4-2-2-2 in an attempt to fix his side’s goalscoring woes of late.
