THE PREDICTION

Borussia Dortmund comfortably dispensed with Greuther Furth in midweek and now turn their attentions to Hertha. The hosts were beaten 4-0 by Mainz last time out and their backline are in for another long 90 minutes against the likes of Erling Haaland and Donyell Malen. Borussia Dortmund currently sit six points adrift of league leaders Bayern Munich, a gap which could well have been extended to nine points by the time Marco Rose’s men kick off at Olympiastadion Berlin. This should ensure no complacency on the side of the visitors, who are likely to overwhelm Hertha with their offensive firepower and ultimately gain a vital three points going into the winter break.
