THE LOWDOWN
REIMS
A couple of weeks ago, Belgian-born English manager Will Still took the decision to step away from Stade de Reims after an underwhelming campaign in which they sat firmly in the middle-of-the-table after a season in which they have heavily invested into the squad. They are beginning this final round of fixtures sitting in the bottom-half of the table.
Reims come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with top three chasing Stade Brest at Stade Francis-Le Ble last weekend. Marshall Munetsi had opened the scoring for Reims in the 25th minute before Lilian Brassier equalised in first-half stoppage-time. The home team have now managed just two wins in 15 matches across all competitions.
MARSEILLE
Former Ivory Coast boss Jean-Louis Gasset was appointed manager of Olympique de Marseille in February and had an immediately positive impact after the sackings of Marcelino and Gennaro Gattuso. However, the southerners are expected to drift in these final couple of matches with little to play for after recently losing their UEFA Europa League semi-final to Atalanta.
However, as they were set to struggle, they come into this one on the back of a comfortable 3-1 defeat of Lorient in their most recent outing at the weekend to relegate their opposition and it allowed their key man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to continue his fine season with a brace in that game away from home.
THE TEAM NEWS
REIMS
Stade de Reims still have a few injury concerns for the visit of Marseille as the likes of Mohamed Daramy and defender Joseph Okumu remain sidelined.

MARSEILLE
Leonardo Balerdi is missing through suspension for this weekend’s trip to Reims, whilst fellow defender Valentin Rongier is out injured, too.
PREDICTED XI (3-4-2-1): Lopez; Mbemba, Gigot, Garcia; Murillo, Gueye, Veretout, Henrique; Sarr, Aubameyang; Moumbagna
UNAVAILABLE: Balerdi (Suspended), Rongier (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE:
THE PREDICTION
It may have appeared that Marseille would drift between now and the end of the season but plenty of players have a point to prove with suggestions that Lille boss Paulo Fonseca could be coming down to the south of France. Reims have been really poor for quite a few months and they are sinking quickly down the league table so backing Marseille, especially with their home advantage, looks the way to go for this one.
TIP: MARSEILLE TO WIN
