Germany’s defensive solidity with back-to-back clean sheets will be very promising for Loew. This qualifying campaign comes on the back of their 6-0 Nations League defeat to Spain and so, the need to be tighter is essential. Loew appears to have settled on a back four in order to get their several very good midfielders and forwards in the side. North Macedonia are in the midst of exciting preparation for their first ever major tournament this summer. Their 3-2 defeat away to Romania backed up by a 5-0 win over Liechtenstein. Eight goals in two games is emblematic of their attacking gameplan.
