THE PREDICTION

A tasty Yorkshire derby takes place at The John Smith’s Stadium between two Championship sides in very contrasting league form. Whilst Huddersfield sit inside the top six having gone unbeaten in their last 11 in all competitions, Barnsley lie rock-bottom of the table, without a league win since early November. The Tykes needed extra time to overcome League Two outfit Barrow last round in a 5-4 thriller, however form goes out of the window in the FA Cup and without the stress that comes with a relegation battle, this young Barnsley side will likely play with far more of a freedom about them and could well cause a surprise. Huddersfield though, won’t want to surrender their place in the competition after knocking out Premier League opposition in Burnley to reach this stage and a feisty encounter is in prospect. With both expected to be afforded license to roam forward whenever possible by their respective head coaches, plenty of chances are likely to be created and backing over 2.5 goals scored within the 90 minutes is well worth backing, regardless of who advances to the fifth-round.
