GERMANY PREVIEW: ROLLING THROUGH THE GROUPS
Germany’s opening match against Scotland was about rebuilding the relationship between the team and the supporters. Julian Nagelsmann had begun to do that with excellent friendly performances and victories over the French and the Dutch in the March international break but something emphatic on the big stage was still required.
Something emphatic indeed did come against a miserably sloppy Scottish side at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Friday. Germany ran rampant throughout the game a 5-1 hammering of the Scots will be perhaps be a little frustrating for Nagelsmann because there is no way they should not have kept a clean sheet and they had plenty of chances to increase that score-line.
HUNGARY PREVIEW: STARTING WELL TO BE KEY
The relativist tactical style of Marco Rossi and his Hungarian national side was a bit ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ at the weekend as they struggled to get to grips with an experienced Swiss side full of nous and genuine quality themselves in the first-half before really growing into the game in the second 45 minutes.
They grew into the game so much that they will be left gutted that they departed the RheinEnergie Stadion in Cologne without at least a point. At 2-1 for much of the second-half, they created lots of openings, especially with crosses from out-wide, but were undone late on by an excellent counter-attack finished off well by Breel Embolo to give what was an unfair 3-1 defeat.
GERMANY TEAM NEWS: UNCHANGED, GO AGAIN
Julian Nagelsmann is once again blessed with no fresh injuries following Aleksandar Pavlovic’s late withdrawal due to tonsilitis last week but even his replacement, Emre Can, came on and notched in that rout of Scotland. Die Mannschaft will look to get this group and Round of 16 qualification wrapped up before changes in their final game.

HUNGARY TEAM NEWS: PICKING UP FROM THE SECOND-HALF
One of the key areas in Marco Rossi’s system that was weak against the Swiss on Saturday was the right wing-back slot, both in defence and in attack. Le Havre’s Loic Nego, who has been a stalwart for the Hungarians, remains a doubt so former Wolverhampton Wanderers man Bendeguiz Bolla is expected to keep his place.
PREDICTED XI (3-4-2-1): Gulacsi; Lang, Orban, Szalai; Bolla, A. Nagy, Schafer, Kerkez; Sallai, Szoboszlai; Varga

QUESTIONABLE: Nego (Injured)
KEY STATS
GERMANY VS HUNGARY PREDICTION
Germany were extremely enjoyable to watch against Scotland and it would be a dereliction of duty not to mention the mesmeric performance of Jamal Musiala alongside Florian Wirtz in their attack. They will seek to get after a Hungarian side that can look a little disjointed at times, as shown against Switzerland, but that helps them to be unpredictable in attack and the German defence was not remotely tested the other day, whereas it should be in this one. Another high-scoring and entertaining German victory is to be expected.
