THE LOWDOWN
WATFORD
- Watford showed incredible resilience to secure what could prove a precious point at Old Trafford this past weekend, holding Man Utd to a 0-0 draw, but the Hornets remain inside the bottom three.
- The fitness of Ismaila Sarr is of most concern, with concerns that the winger suffered a knock during the Man Utd game and it is vital that he recovers in time when taking into account his quality going forward.
ARSENAL
- Arsenal produced a fantastic late comeback in their most recent Premier League match to beat Wolves 2-1, their third straight victory which leaves them in an excellent position to potentially break into the top four this weekend with fifth-placed West Ham and fourth-placed Man Utd facing the current top two.
- Only right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu is a doubt here for the Gunners, with attacking midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe expected to have recovered from the illness which kept him out of Arsenal’s last game.

THE PREDICTION
Whilst Watford put on a great showing defensively against Man Utd, at home they will be forced to show more attacking intent in front of their own fans, which may well play into Arsenal’s hands. The home form of the Hornets this season has been terrible and they come into this match having lost each of their last seven Premier League fixture at Vicarage Road. Arsenal are too good of a side not to capitalise on this and Mikel Arteta’s side should be backed to continue their winning run with another three points here in Hertfordshire.
Tip: ARSENAL TO WIN
