THE PREDICTION
Conceding late goals cost both teams in their respective midweek fixtures and the message will very much be on channelling that frustration into positive performances here. Newcastle’s new signing Alexander Isak made an instant impact on his debut against Liverpool and he will be chomping at the bit for another opportunity to impress should he overcome a dead leg, while the likes of Eberechi Eze and Wilfried Zaha will be a constant menace at the other end. An entertaining game should ensue then, but the edge just goes to the hosts, who have lost just once in their last 12 Premier League games at St. James’ Park.
