The hosts will move above Arsenal if they win this weekend but they will be reliant on Liverpool dropping points if they are to return to the top-of-the-table on Easter Sunday.

In 2024, Arsenal have been magnificent in the Premier League as they headed into the March international break sitting at the top-of-the-table. They have played eight matches in the league this year, winning all eight and scoring 33 goals in the process.

THE PREDICTION
On Thursday, it was officially a full year in which Rodri had gone without losing a single match he had played in for both club and country. There is therefore a very flawed theory, albeit one that remains prevalent and has some understanding, that a defeat is surely around the corner. Well, if not when the currently rampant league leaders, with a seemingly generally fully fit squad or close to, arrive at the start of what is going to be a mammoth run of clashes with injuries of their own – when else? Backing against City at home is potentially a bit mad but this is a well coached Arsenal side that might just be the team to lay a marker down and exploit something that is potentially missing this season in east Manchester.
