THE LOWDOWN

LUTON

Everton's ten-point deduction means that Luton find themselves outside the relegation zone heading into the weekend, despite the fact they have picked up just one win in the Premier League this season.

The Hatters have put in some decent performances recently though, coming within a whisker of beating Liverpool before losing narrowly to Man Utd prior to the international break, and they have certainly looked competitive at times.

CRYSTAL PALACE

Crystal Palace are currently on a run of just one win in their last five Premier League games but that sole victory did come in their last away game, which saw them defeat promoted side Burnley 0-2 at Turf Moor.

The Eagles' last outing saw them come from behind twice against Everton but a late Idrissa Gueye goal ultimately saw them fall to a fifth defeat of the Premier League season.

THE TEAM NEWS

LUTON

A head injury sustained on international duty will prevent Issa Kabore's participation in this fixture, but Amari'i Bell is fit and available for selection.

Chiedozie Ogbene is a doubt with a foot injury and will face a late fitness test to determine his condition.

PREDICTED XI (3-4-2-1): Kaminski; Mengi, Lockyer, Osho; Doughty, Nakamba, Barkley, Bell; Townsend, Adebayo; Morris

UNAVAILABLE: Andersen (Injured), Kabore (Injured), Potts (Injured), Burke (Injured), Lokonga (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Woodrow (Injured), Ogbene (Injured)

CRYSTAL PALACE

There weren't any fresh injuries to report in the Crystal Palace camp, although Jefferson Lerma and Jordan Ayew were late returnees from international duty and only trained on Friday.

Dean Henderson, James Tomkins, Nathan Fergsuon and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi are the long-term absentees.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Johnstone; Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Hughes, Doucoure; Ayew, Eze, Schlupp; Edouard

UNAVAILABLE: Henderson (Injured), Tomkins (Injured), Ferguson (Injured), Rak-Sakyi (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Lerma (Fatigue), Ayew (Fatigue)

THE PREDICTION

Neither side were setting the world alight before the international break but Luton were at least tightening up in defence, with the Hatters largely competitive against both Liverpool and Man Utd. With that in mind, plus the fact Crystal Palace have kept clean sheets in two of their last three Premier League away games, it would not be a surprise to see a low-scoring game here, with under 2.5 goals the prediction.

BETTING TIP: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
