THE PREDICTION
Given the stratospheric standards that Manchester City have set under Pep Guardiola, the recent record of one win from their last four in all competitions can be described as a blip. However, they are well positioned to take advantage of any slip-ups by Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table, and can – temporarily at least – go top here with a win. They run into a resurgent Leicester side who have found their scoring boots lately, not to mention the fact they have kept clean sheets in four of their last five games. Even if City frontman Erling Haaland doesn’t recover from a knock to feature here though, you would still expect goals. The last meeting between the two resulted in a 6-3 win for City, and although a repeat of that unlikely, over 2.5 goals does seem probable.
