THE LOWDOWN

LEEDS

Having failed to win any of their last eight Premier League games, Leeds have it all to do on the final day and they go into this fixture knowing that even a win may not be good enough to prevent a return to the Championship and put an end to their near-three year stay in the top flight of English football.

When Rodrigo put Sam Allardyce's men in front after 17 minutes against West Ham last Sunday, hope began to filter through the away fans, but defensive lapses cost them yet again as Declan Rice, Jarrod Bowen and Manuel Lanzini made it a 20th defeat of the season. No team has conceded more than Leeds' 74 this campaign, and that could ultimately be the reason they go down.

TOTTENHAM

Tottenham's season is ending in hugely disappointing fashion both on and off the pitch as they have won just one of their last seven Premier League games and their search for a new manager continues to hit stumbling blocks as candidates rule themselves out of the job.

One player who can hold his head up high this season is of course Harry Kane, who has continued to find the net despite his team's struggles. He was at it once more against Brentford last week, putting Spurs up inside ten minutes, but a second-half turnaround from the Bees ultimately saw Kane an co. on the wrong end of a 1-3 defeat.

THE TEAM NEWS

LEEDS

Rodrigo and Patrick Bamford are injury concerns, particularly the latter who had to be withdrawn just after the half-hour mark against West Ham. Given the importance of the game though, Sam Allardyce may well choose to field the pair even if they are not fully fit, especially as there are a lack of options up front.

Marc Roca could come back into the side after a benching last time out, while Junior Firpo is available again following suspension and could well displace Pascal Struijk at left-back.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Robles; Ayling, Kristensen, Wober, Firpo; McKennie, Koch, Roca; Rodrigo, Bamford, Harrison

UNAVAILABLE: Dallas (Injured), Adams (Injured), Gyabi (International duty), Joseph (International duty), Gray (International duty), Sinisterra (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Rodrigo (Injured), Bamford (Injured)

TOTTENHAM

Ryan Mason switched to a 4-4-2 against Brentford to no avail so he may return to his more commonly-used three-at-the-back system here, although he won't be able to call upon the services of Cristian Romero with the Argentine set to miss out again through injury, nor Eric Dier who has undergone groin surgery.

In better news, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has trained and could return to central midfield, while Pedro Porro looks a strong candidate to come into the side after a benching against the Bees.

PREDICTED XI (3-4-3): Forster; Emerson, Sanchez, Lenglet; Porro, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Davies; Kulusevski, Kane, Son

UNAVAILABLE: Lloris (Injured), Romero (Injured), Dier (Injured), Sessegnon (Injured), Bentancur (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Hojbjerg (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Elland Road will be a cauldron on Sunday afternoon as the Leeds faithful hope to inspire their team to complete an escape, but they know they are facing one of the world's deadliest strikers. Harry Kane has scored 28 Premier League goals in a struggling team this season, and will be determined to become only the second man behind Alan Shearer to reach the 30-goal mark in the Premier League on more than on occasion. Backing the England international to find the net makes sense, here.

TIP: HARRY KANE TO SCORE ANYTIME
